Wow what a summer for all. Lots of workshops and other activities. The sidecar gang is back in Tx. or NM. and some of us are returning to actually put the seismic sensors in the ground. It was a great experience for all (I hope). I post more info and pics later as well the others.
I got to experience Dolly and wonder what would happen if it had been any stronger. I think preparation is grossly underestimated by all, state officials and individuals.
This is it for now got to pay bills and go by school. Take care all and have a great rest of the summer.
P.S. Michael take time to kick back with family and friends and have a few cold ones to relax and chill out (not in front of the computer).

See you all later today for my 20 somethin B-day (probably at H........). We'll Drink the night away .... with powerade of course!!!!!!!

This is a puesdo paperfolding activity dealing with ocean crust, earth's interior and earthquakes. I presented it at the RGVSA a year ago and teachers liked it. It can be used for anything that involves four steps/cycles. I have more files and templates if your interested.

Question 1:
One facet that I have not used is that of empathy (or used very little). Too often we tend to present or views, knowledge, and understanding of a concept with out really taking in to account the person/people we are trying to teach. I would like to use more the facets of perspective and self-knowledge which I believe would help in developing more the facet of empathy.
Question 2:
The idea of enduring understanding is one that was not necessarily clear to me. I think that it comes down to understanding the concept and then being able to break it down in to its different components and then deciding which one is the most important for the overall understanding of the concept.
Question 3:
Access to the esbd website (user I.D. and password) so that we can access all of the resourses.
