Water Salinity

Knowing of the possible crisis we are facing in the future really came me a different prospective as to the importance of teaching conservation. Mr. Arroyo gave a presentation of technology that can relief the future problems, but he also made it known that it is expensive. My question is still how will it affect the environment. Should we be to dependent on this technology. I saw once a documentary from either Chile or Peru where they use nets to capture fresh water in nets and then pipe it into their water system. Is this more cost effective?

Reflection for Day 1

I really enjoy the hands-on activity. In my first year of teaching, I found it very difficult to find activity that were engaging. Earth Science was an area of weakness in all my students. I only wish this workshop would have been in place then. I also very much like the titles that were recommended. As a instructional leader, it is great to read and recommend these types of resources to adult. Although I walk in late, I was online in no time and involved.
